Deby has been with MWI Real Estate for over 24 years and currently serves as Property Manager & Compliance Specialist. Anyone who has had the pleasure of working alongside Deby in her many years with MWI can attest that she is not only brilliant at her job, but she is one of the funniest and most genuine people they have ever met. Deby, thank you for ALL you have done and continue to do for MWI. Your dedication to your family and the professionalism you exhibit at work are why you are such an important part of the MWI team!
How long have you been with MWI Real Estate?
As of December 2023, Deby has been with MWI Real Estate for 24 years!
Tell us about your family, spouse, partner, or close friends.
Deby has a daughter Lisa, who works as a courier for Community Hospital and has 4 really fat dogs. She also has a son Ronnie, who is in the Operations Department at the Indianapolis Zoo and has two children. Deby’s grandchildren are Jaxon and Emory, they are the “joy of her life.”
Tell us about your background (hometown, school, etc.)
Deby attended IPS School #8 and #18 and graduated in 1969. She went on to graduate in 1973 from a Quaker high school in Wabash, Indiana before heading off to college.
How do you prefer to spend your free time?
Deby prefers to spend her free time doing projects around the home.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Deby’s favorite vacation destinations are Daytona Beach and Siesta Key, Florida, if she’s alone. Deby enjoys taking her grandkids to Orlando.
What is the best, or one of the best, pieces of advice you’ve been given?
Deby was taught by her foster mother that she had better learn to take care of herself because she was too bossy for a man.
What is something you have learned during your time with MWI?
Throughout her 24 years with MRI Real Estate, Deby has learned to appreciate her co-workers and ask for help when it is needed.
