Introducing our very first Employee Spotlight, Jenny Brough!

Jenny has been with MWI Real Estate for over a decade and currently serves as our Office Manager and HR Director. Jenny has a positive impact on every member of the MWI Real Estate team by going above and beyond to ensure our employees have the best experience possible. Her talent and commitment to MWI has enabled continual company success. We are very lucky to have Jenny and her beautiful family as a part of MWI Real Estate! See below for our full conversation with Jenny.

How long have you been with MWI Real Estate? What is your area of expertise?

13 years. I have an administrative background, primarily focused with accounts receivable, human resources, payroll, and benefits administration.

Tell us about your family, spouse, partner, or close friends.

In March, my husband Jamey and I will celebrate our 18th anniversary. We have two children: Blake is 15 and a freshman at Franklin Community High School, and Alyssa is 11 and in 5th grade.

Tell us about your background (hometown, school, etc.)

I have lived in Franklin for the past 18 years, but I’m originally from the west side of Indianapolis. I graduated from Ben Davis High School in 2000, and received my B.S. in Business/Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI in 2004.

How do you prefer to spend your free time?

I’m a homebody who prefers to be at home as often as possible! Alyssa is active in cheerleading and is on an All-Star cheer team with the GU Shamrocks located on the east side of Indianapolis, so her schedule keeps us busy on the weekends. She competes locally in Indy as well as Louisville, Chicago, Columbus, OH, and Cincinnati. In May, she will compete nationally at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Walt Disney World at the D2 Summit Championship – we are very much looking forward to this trip!

What is your favorite vacation destination?

My favorite destination would be anywhere near the ocean. Blake and Alyssa love to visit Tennessee, so the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area is our most visited vacation spot.

What is the best, or one of the best, pieces of advice you’ve been given?

Trust your gut – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

What is something you have learned during your time with MWI?

I’ve learned a lot over the years. My position with MWI gives me a unique opportunity to be able to interact with every employee, so it allows me to see and learn about all aspects of our company. There are many moving parts within this industry and it’s nice to be able to see them all in action the way I have.

Thank you Jenny for your dedication to MWI Real Estate!
